The Cheap Seats with Delaney Flynn ’17

In this edition of the Cheap Seats, we sit down with Women’s Hockey forward Delaney Flynn ’17 to discuss her favorite hockey moment, pregame music, spirit animals, and the apocalypse.

Echo: What’s your pregame music?

Delaney Flynn: “Make it Rain” by Fat Joe, DMX, and “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus.

Echo: The apocalypse has begun. What are three items you bring to help you survive it?

DF: Invisibility Cloak, Iced Coffee, and Rollerblades.

Echo: What is your spirit animal and why?

DF: Sea Turtles because they just chill in the ocean and hangout.

Echo: Teammate most likely to take over the world?

DF: Izzy Tegtmeyer ’20.

Echo: Your life in a movie title?

DF: Freaky Friday.

Echo: If you could go on a road trip with any person (dead or alive) who would you choose and where would you go?

DF: Brooke Gary ’18 and we would go to Vegas because she’d definitely try to steal Mike Tyson’s tiger and because her Mom is a lawyer. I also heard a rumor that she’s a phenomenal blackjack player.

Echo: How late is late?

DF: It ain’t late ‘til the break of dawn, yo.

Echo: Favorite moment playing hockey?

DF: Sweeping Bowdoin my freshman year. We won the first game in OT at Bowdoin and then the next game won by one goal. Nobody expected us to sweep them so it was really satisfying to prove people wrong.
